A1189 Jumbo "Miami Premier Deluxe Hawaiian Guitar" ...Without a doubt the most deluxe of all Oscar Schmidt guitars, this guitar was built around 1925 for the Henry Stadlmaier Company, a New York wholesaler and it carries their "Miami" house brand. It has a lower bout width of 15 1/2" and scale length of 26 1/2". Neck width is 1 11/15". This instrument exemplifies the best quality work the Oscar Schmidt Company could muster. It is an absolute gem and is in excellent condition! Recent neck reset, two repaired hairline cracks, one each top and back. Action is perfect and the sound it produces is most impressive! The V profile neck is straight, intonation spot-on and the original tuning machines are in "as new" condition and work splendidly. Top is made of Adirondack spruce, sides, back and neck are mahogany. The ebony fretboard is inlaid with the distinctive mother-of-pearl vine pattern reserved only for Schmidt's top-of-the-line instruments. This guitar is as rare as they come! It's a once in a lifetime instrument! New Hard-shell case.
