A1097 - 1944 Harmony Cremona VI Carved Top Jazz Guitar ....Harmony's "Cremona" models were described in the 1940 Harmony catalog as "Harmony's Finest Hand-Made Guitars".  The Deluxe Grand Auditorium Cremona VI (model 1306) is a "carved top" guitar, not a pressed top instrument like the majority of arch-top guitars. This is an exceptional instrument, comparable in sound to a carved top Gibson or Epiphone, but at a much more modest price! Action and set-up are excellent. Close grain spruce top, maple sides, back and neck. No  cracks in top or sides, two repaired back cracks. Finish is 100% original with no over-spray or touchups. Tailpiece, tuners and bridge are all original! Comes with a generic "Johnny Smith-style" pickguard/pickup, which makes this an excellent and versatile gigging axe! We think this is an exceptional guitar at an exceptional price, for a discerning  jazz player! Comes with the original premium quality hard-shell case with green crushed velour interior.   SOLD         MP3

Ink stamps: CARVED TOP and F-44 (fall 1944) as seen thru f-hole.
